Lamb and
Wine Make the Perfect Pair
Oct. 1 -
As Superior Farms launches its new corporate image this
year, it is also exploring new ways of marketing its
products. One of those strategies is being put into place
this month as the company partners with Rodney Strong
Wines in the Chicago area to offer a coupon program. With
a grant awarded by the American Lamb Board, the effort
also includes some consumer advertising along with
in-store specials.
“We’re
excited to start cross-promoting with other quality
products that bring people in from other departments,”
said Gary Pfeiffer, EVP of Sales and Marketing for
Superior. “Rodney Strong seemed the perfect fit and
Jewel has been nothing but supportive. I think this will
be a program where everybody wins.”
Secondary
displays of Superior Farms American Lamb and Rodney Strong
wines will be set up to draw attention to the products and
coupon opportunities. Advertisements will also run in the
Chicago Tribune in the food section that will offer the
coupon and a recipe.
