Lamb is delicious and
healthy!
When
you’re trying to be healthy and craving flavor, lean
lamb is the delectable choice. A 3-ounce serving of
American lamb has no carbohydrates and only 176
calories. That same serving can provide more than 40% of
the Recommended Daily Allowance for protein.
Compared
to other meats, lamb contains little fat marbling
throughout the meat – and since most of the fat is
limited to the outside edges, it’s easily trimmed.
That means fewer calories. It’s naturally mild and
sweet and when you buy Superior Farms lamb, you know you
are making the superior selection! Learn how to
cook lamb with our easy cooking instructions, then try one of our

Sheep
Are Green!
Sheep
are a natural, low-cost means of managing our
environment. Proper grazing can benefit the
environment as well as wildlife, the tax-paying
public and consumers. Visit the American Sheep
Industry Association at www.sheepusa.org

identifying ways in which sheep protect and
enhance our natural resources.
